President and CEO
Richard Blalock brings 37 years of experience in program and event development, facility development, as well as, developing public – private partnerships. While with the City of Newberry, he was instrumental in working with various commissions and councils to develop and fund the construction of Nations Park, a state of the art 16 field baseball / fast pitch facility.
He has experience developing partnerships with Easton Sports Development Foundation, Florida Fish and Wildlife, Florida Greenways and Trails, Suwannee River Water Management District and Florida Recreation Development Assistance Program to develop the Easton – Newberry Sports Complex.
The Easton – Newberry Sports Complex is a 100-acre facility that has the traditional recreation facilities, as well as, an archery training facility that has been recognized by the United States Olympic Committee as one of only ten Community Olympic Development Programs in the United States.
Richard has served on various community boards including the 15 years on the Gainesville Sports Commission Board of Directors, as well as, past president, 17 years as a Sports Director of the Florida Sports Foundation, 5 years on the Alachua Community awards include Gainesville Sports Commission’s President’s Above and Beyond Award and 3 Bronze Gator Awards for community involvement and from the Newberry – Jonesville Chamber of Commerce, Community Leader of the Year and the Large Business of the Year award for the City of Newberry Parks & Recreation Department. He also developed the Diamond Sports Park T-Ball Program that was published by T-Ball USA, “The Official Family Guide to T-Ball”.
VP of Development
Anthony Homer has over a decade and half of real estate development experience in the private sector as well as public private partnerships. He has a successful track record of leading multi-discipline teams from project pursuit, negotiations through permitting to construction. He plays a tactical role in the development of new markets for sports tourism facilities as well as identifying local strategic partners to multiply the economic impact created in communities. An excellent communicator under pressure, including presentation, media and public speaking, Anthony handles much of the public presentations for RADDSports and community workshops.
Anthony is a licensed Florida real estate broker and has been recognized at every stage of his career including the 2009 Florida Realtors Newcomer Award. He has also served on the Board of Directors for the Florida Realtors, the Sarasota Association of Realtors and as President for the Sarasota Commercial Investment Division, including the task force which built their headquarters.
Director of Finance
An experienced Senior Accountant with a demonstrated history of working in traditional business as well as event and hotel management and retail. Skilled in Account Reconciliations, Banking, Monthly Financials, Accounting, and General Ledger. Strong accounting professional with a Bachelor of Science from USF Sarasota-Manatee.
Arika has worked for global and best-in-industry companies and brings her experience in operations and accounting systems to each of RADDSports’ projects.
Director of Marketing
Jannah Nager has worked in the Marketing Field for more than 20 years. She started her career in the cosmetics and fragrance industry, promoting Estee Lauder, Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren and Dolce & Gabanna, just to name a few.
In 2011, she joined the American Cancer Society as the Community Marketing Manager for the Pasco County Relay for Life and Making Strides Against Breast Cancer events for Pasco and Pinellas counties. In 2014, she took on a new challenge when she became the Marketing and Events Coordinator for the Pasco Education Foundation, the nonprofit corporation supporting Pasco County’s public schools. She helped raise tens of thousands of dollars each year as the primary link between the Foundation and the community. She is excited to bring her many years of community connections to RADDSports and its unique public-private partnership with Pasco County.
Jannah attended Pasco Hernando State College and Polk State College for her Associate in Arts degree and majored in Communications at Warner Southern University. She is a long-time Pasco County resident with many ties to this community. Jannah also has been a member of the Wesley Chapel Rotary Club for eight years and serves as an ambassador for the North Tampa Bay Chamber of Commerce.
