Brooke Turner

Born on July 13 in Tampa, daughter of Billy and Patricia Turner she has one sister, Christine. Her father played football at Florida State while a pair of cousins competed in football at Duke (Danny Doyle) and USF (Zach Hudson). Played her high school ball for Kesha Lindo at Gaither High and posted the highest hitting percentage in the district as a senior. Brooke was named Best Offensive Player and earned the Volleyball MVP Award as a sophomore. Played club in the local Tampa area. She continued her volleyball career in college at Saint Leo University. She chose Saint Leo because it’s a beautiful school and the people made her feel very welcome and comfortable. She finished her final season in November 2021. Brooke helped lead the Lions to the 2019 NCAA South Region Championship as a starting Outside, part of the first Saint Leo volleyball team to advance to the NCAA Elite Eight. Also during her time at Leo she was a member of Saint Leo University President’s Club Fall 2019 and Spring 2020.
