Ray came to Wiregrass Ranch Sports Campus as Culinary Manager to oversee the successful opening of our Food and Beverage Department. Ray’s early culinary experience includes Chef in San Diego and Miami Beach before moving to Tampa and being hired on at Busch Gardens. Ray helped open the award-winning Crown Colony Restaurant, worked Corporate and private catering, and managed numerous restaurants, carts, and kiosks within the park. This variety of different venues helped him expand his knowledge of food trends and product selections. Before coming aboard Ray also Managed the Food and Beverage Department at Clearwater
Marine Aquarium, setting the foundation for the future success of the culinary department. Today our Power Alley culinary team led by Ray demonstrates his past successes and provides our guests with food choices beyond that of the average sports center.
