Holly is originally from Bristol, CT, where she attended Bristol Central High School as a three-sport varsity athlete. Holly played basketball, volleyball, and track & field and received the following accolades — 12 varsity letters, All-Academic Team Honors for four years, named to the All-State Team, Senior All-Star team in volleyball (‘99) and track & field (‘99) and All-Conference honors in all three sports (‘97, ’98 & ‘99).She went on to play at the University of New Haven, CT, as a setter, where she was named New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Rookie of the week and was twice named NECC Player of the week. She went to the Elite Eight of the 1999 NCAA Division II Women’s Volleyball Championships. In 2000 she transferred to play Division I at Central Connecticut State University in New Britain, CT, as a setter/ right side where she helped her team go to the 2001 Northeast Conference (NEC) Conference finals and received NEC All-Academic honors (01, 02).Holly Started her coaching career an assistant coach for various volleyball club teams throughout Connecticut until 2007 when she took a short break to start her family. She started back up as a coach in 2012 at the Northwest Volleyball Club and St. Paul Catholic High School (2014-15 seasons). She then moved on to coach at her alma mater Bristol Central High School (for the 2016-18 seasons). She broke the school’s best-ever regular-season record (19-5) and overall record (23-6), and led the team to the quarterfinals of the Connecticut State tournament (‘18 season).In 2014, she also became the Assistant Director of the Bristol Crush Volleyball Club, where she started developmental programs for ages 4-15, as well as a high-performance program. In 2018, her 17U High Performance Travel team earned a bid to nationals by winning the NERVA Open Championships in 2018. The team finished 6th at the Mizuno Boston USA level.Holly has trained many players who have gone on to play at the collegiate level. She is very dedicated to, and passionate about, growing the game of volleyball through the art and science of teaching the fundamentals and biomechanics of the game and to building player and team skills in a fun and competitive environment. Her goal as co-director of RADDSports Volleyball is to build self-confidence in young athletes to not only help them grow into great volleyball players, but also well-rounded individuals, all while developing a love for the game.Holly and her husband Zach Willette were married in 2010 and have 2 sons — Quinn (10) and Evan (8), They reside in St. Petersburg Florida, where she homeschools her two boys, loves spending time with friends and exploring all that the beautiful state of Florida has to offer.

Monica Ewalt

Volleyball Director

Monica Ewalt joined the Staff at RADDSports as a Co-Director of Volleyball in August of 2021. She brings 19 years of college and club-level training to the RADD family.Coach Monica recently served on the Board of Directors for the Tampa United Volleyball Academy, where she played, coached, and led her teams to multiple bids at the Junior National Championships. She has also become known as one of the top private-lesson instructors in the Tampa Bay area.At the college level, Monica served on the Volleyball staff at Hillsborough Community College (HCC) since 2003 and was named Associate Head Coach in August of 2010. While at HCC, she was selected twice as the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) National Assistant Coach of the Year, first in 2009 and again in 2015. She helped guide the HCC Hawks to seven National Championship appearances, five Conference Championships and trained multiple National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) All-Americans. Monica’s dedication and commitment to her players allowed her to help numerous student-athletes gain athletic scholarships to a wide variety of colleges across the country, including NCAA Division I, Division II, and NAIA institutions. As a player, she earned the honor of team captain her sophomore year and led HCC to an appearance in the NJCAA State Championship.Monica also owns her own business, Imagine Your Design, which specializes in signage, apparel, and yard celebrations. In addition, she co-founded a volleyball apparel company that designs and produces volleyball-specific attire. Monica and her husband Luke were married in January of 2016 and have a son, Nico. They reside in Lutz, Florida, where she enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

Originally from Austin, Texas. Moved to Florida to play volleyball at Saint Leo University.

Playing and Coaching: I am currently a student athlete at Saint Leo University. I play beach and indoor volleyball. I appeared in the Texas 5A state final four in highschool and the Elite 8 during my freshman year at Saint Leo (2019-2020). I am a biology major and have made the Dean's List 3 out of 4 semesters thus far. I plan to become a pediatric nurse practitioner and love that coaching club incorporates my passion of working with children and my sport. I have coached private lessons in my hometown and was the head 12U coach at RADD Elite in the 2020-2021 season.

Madison Bragan

14U Head Coach

Born in Tampa. Parents are Scott and Erika Bragan. Has one younger brother, Spencer. Played club in the Tampa area and spent the first two years of high school at Hillsborough High before transferring to Tampa Prep, where she played for coach Leanna Taylor and recorded 989 assists, 134 aces, 251 digs and 163 kills during her career. Tallied 588 assists, 30 aces, 56 digs and 23 kills as a senior she was named team captain as a senior and received all-county honors as a junior. She decided to stay local and play for the University of South Florida where she enjoys her time as a Sophomore. As a setter for the team she is working hard on the court, in the weight room and in the classroom. Her mother, Erika, also played volleyball at USF for two seasons (1991-92).

Anna Garret

14U Boys Head Coach

Originally from Cocoa Beach FL and attend Saint Leo University. Just graduated with a bachelor of arts in hospitality and multimedia. Pursuing a master's in marketing in the fall.

Playing & Coaching: I am currently a setter at Saint Leo University and play indoor and beach, a part of the Sunshine state conference. I received All American honors, All south region x2, All SSC second team, Setter of the week x8, and SSC Commissioners honor roll x4.
I started coaching at my hometown club, Cape Coast Volleyball at 16. Since then, I have assisted multiple club teams of all ages and head coached RADD Elites 14U last season. In the summers, I head coach mini clubs and summer leagues as well as run my own private lessons. I have also coached at college camps such as the University of Tampa and the Naval Academy and often go back to my high school to help out.

Angel Ramirez

15U Head Coach

Angel Ramirez played Volleyball and Basketball in High School and he was offered a scholarship to the University of Puerto Rico where he would play both sports, but his passion was always Volleyball. He was a stand out Outside Hitter and Middle Blocker. He began his career as a coach in Puerto Rico by becoming a Recreational Leader of his community, then he move to Florida in 2016. He worked as a Coach for Brandon Volleyball Association and he was the Head Coach of Cypress Creek Middle School, who finished their season 2020 undefeated. He currently works as an ESOL IA at Cypress Creek High School and he is the Head Coach of Wiregrass Ranch High School volleyball program.

Playing & Coaching: My volleyball career began at the age of 19 and immediately fell in love with the sport. I played indoors competitively for 20 years in the Mid-Atlantic region (VA/MD/DE) in tournaments at the local, regional, and national levels within the adult USAV organization. I also competed competitively at the “Open” division level in beach volleyball along the East coast from VA to NJ. My teaching of the game ranges from running both indoor/beach clinics for both adults/ juniors and coaching AAU/USAV/High School within the Florida region over the past 5 years. My coaching philosophy is centered around teaching the fundamentals of the game, then working toward more advanced skills and game play.

17U Assistant Coach

Originally from Louisville, Kentucky & now attends Saint Leo University. Will be a junior for the 2021-2022 school year. Pursuing an undergraduate degree in criminal justice with a minor in Spanish and marketing.
Playing: Before my collegiate experience, I played club volleyball at KIVA (Kentucky Indiana Volleyball Academy) and MAVA (Mid America Volleyball Association), both located in Louisville, Kentucky. I played four years of high school volleyball at Sacred Heart Academy, also in Louisville, Kentucky. I am currently a junior setter for Saint Leo University’s indoor volleyball team. I am also a part of the beach volleyball team at Saint Leo. Both indoor and beach volleyball teams are in the Division II Sunshine State Conference. I have received SSC Commissioner’s Honor Roll (x2), led the team in service aces in 2019, and helped the team earn the 2019 NCAA Region Championship as well as appear in the NCAA Elite Eight.
Coaching: I started coaching, refereeing, and assisting in camps when I was 15 at both of my hometown clubs, KIVA and MAVA, and my high school, Sacred Heart Academy. Since then, I have assisted multiple club teams of all ages & head coached RADD Elite’s U16 last season (2020-2021). Year-round I referee tournaments and run my own private lessons.

Margeret Schrim

Assistant RADD Elite Volleyball Coach

Born on August 17 in Lawrenceville, Ga. Daughter of Tim and Mary Schirm has a sister, Abby, and a brother, Thomas. Both parents were student-athletes at King University in volleyball and basketball. Enjoys hiking/outdoor activities as well as cooking in her spare time. Attended Parkview High School and was named Most Valuable Player, Class 7A First Team All-County selectionas a senior, Third Team All-County as a junior, recipient of the Panther Award, All-Region selection. She spent time with the Tsunami volleyball club. For college she decided to attend Saint Leo University and play for the Lions where she enjoys her time as a Sophomore.

She grew up in the city of Zephryhills where I started playing volleyball in middle school. I graduated from Zephyrhills High School in 2019 where I ended my playing career and began coaching club volleyball. I am now a third-year head coach of girls ranging between 14 and 16 years old. I also have coached a season at Land O’ Lakes high school in the year 2021.

He was raised in Pensacola, Florida. He moved to Columbus, Georgia to attend Columbus State University where he graduated in 2016. He started playing recreational grass and sand volleyball in 2018. Soon he started playing indoor and started learning from other advanced players. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his two dogs Romeo and Simba. He also works as a counselor in a clinic.

Amy Miklus

Volleyball Coach

Amy Miklus has previously coached at  Emmanuel College as part of the athletic staff in 2009 as well as 2017-2019. Miklus received her undergraduate degree in Liberal Studies from Emmanuel in 2007 and went on to earn a Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Cambridge College in 2014. While at Emmanuel, Miklus was a four-year starter for the Saints volleyball team and helped the squad capture GNAC Championships in 2004, 2005 and 2006. She finished her career with 1,038 kills to rank third all-time and was named to the GNAC All-Conference team all four seasons, earning GNAC Rookie of the Year and Third Team honors in 2003, Second Team honors in 2004 and 2005, before rounding our her career with GNAC First Team honors during her senior campaign in 2006. Miklus has served as a Volleyball Coach for SMASH volleyball since 2015, organizing practices for players ranging in ages from K-12.Coach Miklus is currently runs her own private practice in Mental Health Counseling, MindfulMikLMHCConnect, LLC working with children, adults and families in the local area. In her free time she spends time with discovery new parts of Florida with her dog and playing volleyball and more recently learning to play pickle ball and golf.

Annie Miklus

Volleyball Coach

Annie Miklus is originally from Cleveland, Ohio.  She brings over 20 years of experience as a player and a coach. She attended Ohio State University (Go Buckeyes!!) and took her volleyball talents to the competitive club program for three years. Annie served as an officer of the club and was awarded Most Valuable Offensive Player.  After college, she moved to New England where she fielded numerous USAV women’s teams to compete nationally each year. This is where her coaching experience began as an Assistant Coach at Regis University and eventually, she moved on to become the head coach of Emerson College.After nearly 10 years in Boston, Annie moved out west to Denver, Colorado. During this time, she transitioned her volleyball career to outdoor doubles competing at the highest-level tournaments in the state. She soon found herself coaching again and incepted the Women’s Club volleyball program at the University of Denver. Growing the program from one team of eight to holding tryouts and creating two teams due to increased interest in the program. She was awarded Division II National Coach of the Year in her last year.Annie is passionate about making sure the game is still fun while being competitive.  Sharing the joy of the sport that has been with her for over 20 years. In her free time, she spends time discovering the Tampa area with her two Goldendoodles, Sofie and Buster Brown or playing beach doubles whenever she has the opportunity.

Suzanne

Volleyball Coach

Suzanne, better known as Suz, is originally from Tampa, FL. She played, as a setter, competitively for Tampa United and for her High School, Tampa Catholic. Suz pursued playing collegiately, but ultimately chose attending Florida State and graduated with a degree in Sports Marketing. She has a passion for lifting up others through intentional and supportive coaching. When she’s not coaching or at her full-time job, you can find Suz coaching at Orangetheory or playing with her two goldendoodles.

Alaina

Volleyball Coach

My name is Alaina, I grew up in White Lake, Michigan and moved to New Tampa in 2019 with my family.  I am currently a grad student at California Baptist University and I will be graduating with a Masters of Science in Public Health December 2022. Volleyball is a passion of mine, it is the only sport I ever played and I love it wholeheartedly.  My mom will tell you I knew how to pass a volleyball before I could walk.  I have ten years of elite club level playing experience and two years of High School coaching experience. Here at RADD I have enjoyed being a part of coaching in our Prep and Developmental programs and am looking forward to joining the Elite team this year. I find it so rewarding to watch children of all ages work hard and succeed.  Being a coach allows me to share my love for the sport with the athletes of the future.

Lara

Volleyball Coach

Lara is originally from New York City, New York where her love of volleyball began in high school playing varsity all 4 years as an outside hitter. She went to Boston University and played for their club team as an outside hitter and middle hitter.  She earned her Masters in physical therapy and moved to Tampa, Florida. Once in Florida she discovered beach volleyball and competed in multiple doubles tournaments over the years. She went back and earned her doctorate in physical therapy from Temple University and works with predominately brain injury and stroke clients. Coached RADD fall ball last season and assisted with the developmental program. Her passion is her daughters and teaching the the game of volleyball.
