Ronnie Outen was a two-time Junior College All-American who transferred to and played for Division I-A West Virginia University in Morgantown.After graduating from WVU, he started his professional basketball career in Malta in 1993, where he led the league in scoring. The next year, he signed a two-year contract to play in Montepastore, Italy, and in 1996, played for the Newcastle Lions in England,and followed that by playing for the Yakima Sun kings in the Continental Basketball Assn. (CBA) before being released and finishing out the 1997 season with Champville in the country of Lebanon.Ronnie continued his career in Stockholm, Sweden, in 1998, where he won a Swedish league championship, and played the final three years of his career back in Lebanon, where he led the league in scoring one season and won a Lebanese league title with Kharaba Zouk.He retired from competitive basketball in 2002 and moved to Florida, where he spent several years as a stay-at-home dad before becoming a Realtor with Buyer Resource Realty in 2005 and with Hoffman and Hoffman Realty in Tampa.Ronnie became a substitute teacher in Hillsborough County Schools in 2006, where he began coaching in the New Tampa area, first at Liberty Middle School and then as an assistant coach at Freedom High. He then was offered a full-time position at Bartels K-8 School, where he became the head basketball coach in 2010. He continued teaching at both Barrels and then at Wharton High until 2013, when he moved to Boston to further his son’s hockey career.While in Boston, Ronnie mentored several young men in the suburb of Worcester and became a personal basketball trainer until he returned to the Tampa Bay area, when he began working at Advent Health Center Ice.Ronnie is excited to join the team at the Wiregrass Ranch Sports Campus of Pasco County as Director of Basketball and to continue to help young athletes grow as people and basketball players.

Cornell discovered the game of basketball at a young age on the courts in Lexington Kentucky. As a TRUE BASKETBALL GYM RAT. Cornell has always been around the game of basketball which has provided me with an opportunity to obtain my college degree from a historical HBCU, Paul Quinn College in Dallas, TX.After graduating Cornell moved to Florida and eventually landed in the Tampa Bay area. Some after,  Cornell started teaching and coaching in Hillsborough County.In 2010 Cornell started a company called, IPBIC (I Play Because I Can) to teach and develop the next generation of basketball players through our training program. IPBIC also provides recruiting services for the student/athletes that are looking to get the right exposure to get into college. Under the umbrella of IPBIC, there is the Next Level Senior Shine Combine, to provide a platform for student/athletes with an opportunity to reach their goals and dreams of playing basketball at the college level. IPBIC also provides training and development for student/athletes that are looking to improve their skills in the game of basketball. Cornell has also worked on the professional level as an NBA Players Agent and, also the Owner/Coach of the HeartLand Prowl. A semi-pro basketball team that played in the FBA (Florida Basketball Association) The Prowl played in the FBA from 2012 to 2015. The Prowl won the 2013 FBA Champions.Cornell continues to coach and train our future basketball players and looking forward to doing the same at the Wiregrass Ranch Sports Campus.

Shawn Floyd

Post Grad Head Basketball Coach

Shawn Floyd is a retired Army Combat Veteran with 21+ years of military service. Coach Floyd’s playing experience includes one year of college basketball at Fort Valley State University prior to joining the US Army in 1995.  During his time in the Army, Coach Floyd played military basketball at various military installations for seven years.  While stationed in Seoul, Korea Coach Floyd also played two years of club (semi-pro) basketball for the Seoul Knights.Coach Floyd's coaching experience spans over 12 years. In which he has served as a personal trainer and assistant football and basketball coach at multiple levels that include I-9, Upward, Middle School, High School, and AAU basketball for seven years in Kansas, Missouri, and Florida.  Since 2016, Coach Floyd has served as the Head Coach of the MacDill Air Force Base Patriots Military Basketball Team and the Director and Head Coach of the Tampa Patriots Post Graduate Basketball Team in the Tampa Bay Area.

Coach Justin Isaacs has 13 years coaching Varsity football, 13 years coach basketball.  He took over The Summit Country Day (Ohio) football program in 2017 after serving as an interim coach for one season and an assistant coach for seven seasons. In his first season as interim head coach, the team made the playoffs with a team record of 7-4. Coach Isaacs’ experience with the Silver Knights includes roles as offensive coordinator, running backs coach, and junior varsity coach. In addition to being a 2005 Reading High School graduate and 2010 Cincinnati State graduate, Coach Isaacs played Arena Football for eight years. The former running back is a member of the Cincinnati Minor-League Football Hall of Fame.
