Amy Miklus has previously coached at Emmanuel College as part of the athletic staff in 2009 as well as 2017-2019. Miklus received her undergraduate degree in Liberal Studies from Emmanuel in 2007 and went on to earn a Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Cambridge College in 2014. While at Emmanuel, Miklus was a four-year starter for the Saints volleyball team and helped the squad capture GNAC Championships in 2004, 2005 and 2006. She finished her career with 1,038 kills to rank third all-time and was named to the GNAC All-Conference team all four seasons, earning GNAC Rookie of the Year and Third Team honors in 2003, Second Team honors in 2004 and 2005, before rounding our her career with GNAC First Team honors during her senior campaign in 2006. Miklus has served as a Volleyball Coach for SMASH volleyball since 2015, organizing practices for players ranging in ages from K-12.
Coach Miklus is currently runs her own private practice in Mental Health Counseling, MindfulMikLMHCConnect, LLC working with children, adults and families in the local area. In her free time she spends time with discovery new parts of Florida with her dog and playing volleyball and more recently learning to play pickle ball and golf.
