Cornell discovered the game of basketball at a young age on the courts in Lexington Kentucky. As a TRUE BASKETBALL GYM RAT. Cornell has always been around the game of basketball which has provided me with an opportunity to obtain my college degree from a historical HBCU, Paul Quinn College in Dallas, TX.
After graduating Cornell moved to Florida and eventually landed in the Tampa Bay area. Some after, Cornell started teaching and coaching in Hillsborough County.
In 2010 Cornell started a company called, IPBIC (I Play Because I Can) to teach and develop the next generation of basketball players through our training program. IPBIC also provides recruiting services for the student/athletes that are looking to get the right exposure to get into college. Under the umbrella of IPBIC, there is the Next Level Senior Shine Combine, to provide a platform for student/athletes with an opportunity to reach their goals and dreams of playing basketball at the college level. IPBIC also provides training and development for student/athletes that are looking to improve their skills in the game of basketball. Cornell has also worked on the professional level as an NBA Players Agent and, also the Owner/Coach of the HeartLand Prowl. A semi-pro basketball team that played in the FBA (Florida Basketball Association) The Prowl played in the FBA from 2012 to 2015. The Prowl won the 2013 FBA Champions.
Cornell continues to coach and train our future basketball players and looking forward to doing the same at the Wiregrass Ranch Sports Campus.
